Traditional Turkish Bazaar

For fruits and vegetables, people go to the weekly market – it's cheaper and the quality is better than in stores.

Typically, the regional bazaar is held once a week, but in some places, it occurs twice.

They do not operate every day!

You can find the days and locations of bazaars in Alanya at the link above.

There are vegetable and clothing bazaars, and not just vegetables. At these bazaars, vendors accept only cash!

You can also bargain at the bazaars, but you don't have to – if you buy a lot, they usually give a discount. And if you come before closing, after 5:30, they sell even cheaper.

Bazaars are usually open until 6-7 PM. And stores adjacent to the bazaar often lower their prices to market levels on bazaar days.

One more important thing about bazaars – find "your" vendors and keep going to them, then you’ll get better prices and a more pleasant relationship.
