As the year draws to the end, millions of people around the world look forword to sparkling decorations, colorful lights, delicious food, jolly music and exciting gifts.Yup…because Christmas is coming!

Christmas is a Christian festival that celebrates the birth of the Jesus Christ, who Christians believe was the son of the God.

İn countries with large populations of Orthodox Christians such as Russia, the Ukraine,Romania celebrate Christmas on 7 January too.

Many homes have Christmas trees and other decorations in the weeks leading to Christmas Day. Festive activities include exchanging presents, singing Christmas songs, going to parties.

It's a special time when children get presents from family, friends and Santa Claus, or Father Christmas. Christmas cards are also given or sent out prior to Christmas Day.

Christmas is the only time of the year when people can listen to their natural impulses and express their true feelings, love, generosity, peace without their egos feeling threatened.

Christmas is the time when we feel tenderness for the past, courage for the present and hope for the future. Christmas is not a time or season of the year, but rather a state of our mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to feel compassion, these are the true Spirit of Christmas.

Merry Christmas!
