Oba is located about 4 km from the city center. It is a well-developed area with low- and mid-rise buildings, many of which are set among greenery on quiet streets. Oba has excellent infrastructure: the new regional state hospital is located here, along with a large shopping mall, major supermarkets (Metro, Koçtaş), schools, kindergartens, and green parks.

It’s a very family-friendly area—with a pedestrian promenade, bike lanes, and playgrounds. Oba borders the city directly, making it easy to reach the center in a few minutes by bus or even by walking along the promenade. Property prices in Oba are slightly higher than in Mahmutlar but still affordable.

Kestel is further east, past Tosmur, around 8 km from the center. It is a quiet, upscale neighborhood with low building density and lots of greenery. Height limits are enforced here—no more than five stories—helping preserve the tranquil resort feel. Kestel features many boutique, sea-facing complexes, chosen by those seeking quiet and panoramic views.

Infrastructure is less intensive than in the city center or Oba, but everything necessary is readily available—supermarkets, shops, cafes, a local market, and Alanya University.
